Good afternoon, got the successful email today regarding my MMI… followed quickly by an email regarding my medical next week and a potential start date of May 19th at atrium court… just looking to see if anyone else out there will be on the same course?
Well done mate! Truth be told I can't help but be envious of that.

Ive been waiting for a DMI since August.

Have you had any contact from them regarding how long the wait could be? I had 9 months of total radio silence then this year it’s been constant. I guess it all relies on how many jobs are available at the given depot and how many candidates . Keep the faith though!

My Scotrail Apply account has updated itself in the last week. My driver application from Feb last year with the unsuccessful status after DMI in August has disappeared. Now all I have left is the Email from Matheus confirming that I can re-apply 6 months after August - I sent an Email making contact in February when the 6 month period had been completed.

Has anyone else not currently within the active process noticed a change in their account?

Last contact was in August confirming I had achieved the appropriate standard on all tests.

Has anyone who sat the 2nd assessment and MMI on Tuesday heard anything? I just sat mine today, conscious the weekend is coming up and hate waiting!

I had mine yesterday and she said I’d hear tomorrow as she was horrified I had to wait 7 weeks for feedback on my DMI. Good luck!

Let me know if you get yours and I’ll do the same. This process is a killer!!

I sat mine Tuesday, they said we would hear within 7 days. I haven’t had an email yet. The wait is the worst part of the process.

Quick question for anyone recently started or starting a course at atrium. When did you get your contract through? I am on 29th May course and have a 28 day notice period but not handed my notice in on the assumption I get the contract prior to 30th April, but I've heard some people get theirs very late in the day (maybe a week before start date). I just want to know whether I can hand mine in with confidence.

I’m on the same course as yourself, have sent emails for my contract 2/3 times but still not had a reply

I’m also starting on the 29th. I had a reply from Matheus last week saying the contractual information would be sent out soon .

Hi,

I'm due to start training at Glasgow Atrium Court on the 5th May. Just wondering if anyone else on here is starting this date too?

Cheers

Congratulations to everyone passing the 2nd stage assessments and getting start dates ,
But I need to ask, how on earth did everyone pass that mmi interview?, I’ve done a good few interviews in my time , including presentations , and nothing comes remotely close to the difficulty and complexity of the MMI . Without feedback it’s hard to know where I didn’t meet the standard , but I was in for 90 minutes and thought I covered everything ( obviously not )
6 months ago and still playing it over in my head

Again congratulations to all who were successful

Can you confirm that you've asked in writing for MMI feedback but they haven't provided?

Were your previous interviews related to a railway position and if so what was the outcome?

I did find the MMI the hardest part out of the whole process. Even getting my words out on even the simplest of questions was hard. I think it’s a mind thing too, you pass everything and it’s the last hurdle.

Yes I asked for feedback , I wrote an old fashioned letter to the recruitment contact , but they only told me the topic I didn’t meet the standard on , not why I didn’t meet the standard

Currently in emergency services , and have managed to gain promotion in my current role

Yes definitely, we all congratulated each other when we were told we passed the computer assessments, as you do think that’s you , you’ve passed.

Indeed my ex colleague was told that after passing the computer assessments the job was theirs, and the MMI would be a quick chat

Honestly I just wrote down 6 answers and used my current railway experience and previous military experience and applied them to the answers. Personally I felt that the DMI was harder as it was trying to impress somebody enough to be considered for the job and I treated the MMI as an hour of sharing experiences and backing them up with the follow up questions. I can see why some people may let their guard down after being told they have passed the computerised tests and get blind sided by the pressure of the MMI. They should be sharing proper feedback to yourself, as I can imagine it's playing hard on your mind, it was the same when I failed the DMI first time around.

I failed my DMI and asked for feedback though the channels the interviewing manager told me to go through if I wasn't successful. Emailed recruitment and they told me it would be the interviewing manager. I explained that I wasn't given the procedure or contract details in my rejection email and she took the names of the interviewing manager, so just waiting.

If there isn't anything to go on in the feedback I will put a subject data request in for a copy of
the interview note as an interviewee has the right to request.

How can you improve if you don't know where you went wrong.

yes feedback would be good , appreciating there are many candidates going through the process, time constraints etc
Def playing hard on my mind , all this time later , did I let my guard down after passing the computer assessments?, was the topic I picked not good enough? What word didn’t I say that they were looking for ?

No way of knowing
