Can you explain how you used Peartree if the controls were broken? Not doubting you, just curious because I've seen the gate and just thought it was one button for the intercom.

Basically I alighted at Peartree and none of the exit buttons worked. Call was duly made to the control centre (number was on a sign by the gate) and eventually it was opened. Absolute faff.
