If anyone's interested there's another thread about all the railtour stuff (hopefully that link works?)

Not sure if this is of interest, but been doing a daysave today (a football Saturday). No 313s on Seafoods as expected, but one of the two football reliefs was a pair of 313s (207/216). There were, however, four doing Portsmouth/Littlehampton/Bognor diagrams (205/206/209/215) with 212 off to Bognor ecs from Lovers Walk at 1830 as well. 211 was in the bay at Bognor. Hope that is useful gen, mkr

Yup, was a good day; had a run on 205 to Pompey but returned home early due to disruption.

Guessing now, if any major failures, these won't be repaired and units will be stopped/withdrawn

Not long now....

Yesterday (8th March 2023), presumably because of adverse weather conditions, I saw 313206, 313210, 313211 and 313205 all stabled in the Bognor Regis sidings. I think its at the point where they don't want to run them in tricky weather conditions, because an issue is not worth repairing when they are already on life support.

Southern released this information yesterday, that they wanted to put newer trains on coastway services which provide temperature control, which meant some trains were short formed.

Could only get this one picture and didn't get to see which unit it was ... but this was being moved around Lovers earlier and the driver window was boarded up and the interior looked ripped apart.
