Ah curses; foiled again (said in best Dick Dastardly voice). My last for sight, and 2nd last for photo. May have to keep an eye out for scrap moves; unless it reappears. Wonder what it was doing at Streatham Hill?

Streatham Hill has always been a berthing point for SN 455's
Ah yes; I get that. My Q was more about 8511 specifically (not that I'm obsessed with it or anything ;)). At SL last week; then at SH CS over the weekend, then back at SL today. But as far as I know has worked no diagrams in that time (unless someone knows different?). So why did it move? Might it reappear? SL is very hard for sight/photos, so gutted I missed it LOL

That makes sense. It was this post on Sat that confused me; maybe a mistype/mis-spot?
"Would anyone happen to know the whereabouts of 803/816? Thanks in advance.
Also, 11/23/35/37 are in the sidings by Streatham Hill"

66701 is the loco on today’s 5Q55
Confirmed with with the Arlington vans and 455810 and 455825.
Through imperial wharf 13 minutes early. Whilst 66702 on a stone aggregates train also passed directly after it passed to making a nice video of 66702 meets 66701.

Are GBRF doing all the moves and as such all will require the translators?

Also seem the scrap machine must be working treble time as there’s been a delivery of 2x455 & 3x91 today with more 455s on Thursday.

Gbrf could well be, just my thinking.
Rail operations group most be regretting getting rid of the class 57s now back to drs. Maybe have lost a bit of work?

Which 91’s went for scrap today? Haven’t heard anything about those going.

Nor have I - I did see a photo of the first and only ones from last year re-shared on Facebook again though. Cant seem to find any paths in the system even relating to any 91 scrap moves either.

Ah, I may have not realised that post was an old one. I’m out of the country so only glanced at FB earlier and saw a 57+91 picture which I took to be the waiting chop Doncaster Belmont examples.

The photo in question of the 91s is from 1 year ago today, so have probably resurfaced as an 'on this day in history' post. The only rail delivery Sims have had today are the two 455s.

Which is essentially what has happened on GN. Once the Welwyn peak services return later this month, the GN-side Thameslink service is I believe at or virtually at 100% of the pre-Covid provision, both in terms of services and lengths.

By contrast, the non-Thameslink GN service is still heavily reduced. No peak Baldocks (6x tidal 8-car services per peak, plus three evening down services), all peak Peterboroughs missing bar 3, and all reduced to 8-car, all evening Peterboroughss missing, and the Kings Lynn / Ely service down to virtually solid 8-car. Perhaps more surprisingly, the 717 services will be remaining well down on pre-Covid.

Where this is causing some discontent is these extras tended to offer niceties like peak non-stop Welwyn North or Stevenage to King’s Cross. Commuters do like this sort of thing, even if the actual time difference is minimal. Likewise the ability not to have to board a service in the core. This certainly won’t be helping encourage people back who have a choice.

It will be interesting to see if the stored 465/2s return. My money is on that they probably won’t, especially as they’ve now gone from warm to cold store, but one never quite knows!

Just returned to the office this week. As my commute is Denmark Hill to St Pancras and back next week's timetable change is most welcome! 4 years on from the 2018 the 4tph through service is finally a reality. well sort of, 2 trains will start from Blackfriars which gives an effective 25/5 interval pattern when coming from St Pancras, still Denmark Hill users have known worse. Does anyone know if this will be remedied at some point? there seems to be two 9k diagrams missing (3 and 14 off top of head). Off Peak Thameslink seems to be back to 2019 levels save for the Kentish Orpington Service...

back up route to East Dulwich fairs little better...

off topic but (But on a positive note) Southeastern now increasingly run a Bromley South to Victoria Service stopping Nunhead, Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill at weekends when the Lewisham link is shut. Coincided with the Operator of last resort taking over but that's speculation on my part. Still with all that's going on right now evidence that there are thoughtful people out there are trying to make a difference is good too see :)

Here are the class 455 diagrams for the last day, Saturday 14th May 2022.
Please note whilst these are planned workings, on the day it is possible that changes could be made.
Last passenger departures from London are 00:25 Victoria - Norwood Junction and 00:25 London Bridge - Selhurst

Happy Hunting ;)

Theres gonna be so many spotters out on saturday:lol::lol::lol::lol:
I'll have a look Saturday morning. Never really liked the 455s but it would be rude not to say goodbye to the EE507 motors that have powered so many Southern units for 75 years.
