Also interesting to note that this was a 377/7, the newest trains on the network.I suppose it depends whether the PIS can be upgraded to incorporate it, or whether the whole system would have to be replaced.

The new digital information screens they have could do so much more than what they are doing at present....Im surprised that the recent 377 mods arent including a better way of displaying that the doors wont open in a particular coach, such as what the 700s have got. More failed attention to detail
Yes... and they are too bright. The new digital information screens they have could do so much more than what they are doing at present....
Indeed, on the 377s I used last week on a trip to the South Coast, they were just used for advertising. All a bit pointless really. The new digital information screens they have could do so much more than what they are doing at present....
Better than some of the ones I’ve seen which just display ‘Welcome Screen Portrait’ or something like that on a blue backgroundIndeed, on the 377s I used last week on a trip to the South Coast, they were just used for advertising. All a bit pointless really.
When I was on the train, I saw information about the London Victoria closuresBetter than some of the ones I’ve seen which just display ‘Welcome Screen Portrait’ or something like that on a blue background
What time did it leave?Horsham's 12/455 set moved to Stewart's lane today. No southbound workings that I can see
It was on the 5I50 I believe, 0945What time did it leave?
None planned.Does anyone know if there are any booked 455s to Dorking tomorrow/anytime next week?
The same routes as they operate on weekdays, subject to variation due to engineering work (and services via Forest Hill running through to Coulsdon Town rather than terminating at East Croydon).Does anyone know what routes the SN 455s work on a Saturday. There are excellent and comprehensive diagrams on Pt Spotter for weekdays, but nothing for weekends as far as I can tell?
Thanks! The same routes as they operate on weekdays, subject to variation due to engineering work (and services via Forest Hill running through to Coulsdon Town rather than terminating at East Croydon).
No - 2Gxx services from London Bridge via Forest Hill on a Sunday go to Caterham & Tattenham Corner so will be 10-377.Are there any class 455 stopping at Anerley and Penge West today via forest Hill?
I am heading down on Wednesday to catch the last 2 for me (814/830) then down Brighton for the last 313’s!!Morning guys. Popped up to London yesterday pm for a last spin on the SN 455s. Pleased to report all diagrams seemed solid 455; managed to try all 4 routes out and get some great phots (see excellent 'Part Time Spotter' site for diags and allocations). Allox were also as per that site, with just a couple of swaps (including annoyingly 458511/2, which are 2 of my last 4!!). Streatham Common to Selhurst is probably the best hunting ground; with both LBG>CAT and VIC>EpsomDowns diags, you can then pop up to Tulse Hill for the Beckenhams Jns and down to East Croydon for the diags to LBG. If anyone wants actual numbers then shout (also if anyone sees 458511/2 then let me know!)
814 was out yesterday on the Beckenham's, paired with 801 (was one of the swaps, shown as not allox on PTS). 830 was paired with 846 on the Epsom Downs. Not relevant to next Wednesday of course, just out of interest! Good luck, and with the 313s.I am heading down on Wednesday to catch the last 2 for me (814/830) then down Brighton for the last 313’s!!
