I was on 19202 yesterday and there is only one E400 on the 39/40 is one off the crashed E400H back on the road ?

Tryed to find out the 2 fleet numbers that crashed at chapel house but no luck he didn't know what they where if anybody is there try find out

12074 was one i think , not sure what the other one was ! Them 2 and another Hybrid are out of service atm but other than that there looking good.

Yeah I think we can say it was 12074 never seen it since the crash

12074 was in the yard yesterday with near-side rear panels missing and rear bumper and B10BLE 21148 is in workshop getting gearbox/engine change

I think 12062 was one off them what crashed just seen it in byker out on a test run on sheilds road

19216 has had its side mega rider stickers applied again ! This bus used to carry an offside advert for kellogs rice krispie squares.

19160 has lost its tunisa advert and been replaced with an ad for dame allans school.

The hybrids are receiving nearside adverts too in there advert pannels so I've noticed.

12085 was on the 1 this morning to rye hill 12074 is back on the road couple off the window stickers have been replaced on the top deck.

19145 has crashed just outside town towards byker the bus has damage to the front left side off it the car it span off the road and hit the wall it was really bad,27510 was there think it was going back to the depot and it might off picked the crash up on its cctv.

Dont think so the engine was off and didn't have no passengers on it, it looked like 19145 could be fixed at Slatyford.

Where are the hybrids have not seen any today on the 39/40 and the 12 ?

I would expect Sunday is a maintainence day for them, with ALX300s or E300s out on track due to the lower passenger numbers.

Lower passenger numbers? Sunday is the second busiest shopping day of the week round these parts! They are usually to be found on the 12, 39 & 40 on Sundays so I can only assume there was something atypical keeping them off the road today.

19145 was back in service on wednesday! Spotted on the X87 with a new blue front end ! Identical to the odd blue pannel 19149 had not so long ago. Sundays are busy days in Newcastle , a lot of routes can get crowded more on a sunday than a saturday believe it or not.

All Hybrids last sunday were off the road to get re-programmed i think only 12086 made it out for a few hours

Is the 32/32a and the 15 getting upgraded to enviro200's ?

I haven't heard anything to suggest they are yet. There are 19 supposedly due for South Shields early in 2012 which may potentially see some mid-life low-floor darts cascaded to Newcastle for the 15/32/32A/33 & 35. If they were feeling really adventurous I'd suggest they have a punt at some E300s for servces 6 & 7 and cascade those E200s to the peripheral routes given they don't really have enough capacity, particularly on Saturdays.

Not one of the best roads to drive down - 50mph and no centre barrier. Never particularly liked the Redheugh.

Routes 39/40 *when all E400H's are available* are allocated Hybrids so that's not very likely.

Might see the odd one on a route that's lost mileage due to heavy traffic but none will be actually allocated.

However , boxing day might see some out on other routes.

There was definitely one on the 12 yesterday evening. Went past it on New Mills whilst going to town at approx 19:35.
