More likely Chorley post Christmas as the X61 is going there, all depends if they've put a tacho in 16733 as it will be needed on that route.

Tacho's will not be required for X61 when it begins to operate from Chorley on the 9th Jan 2011, neither will the X2 operated from Preston.

Bit of a busy afternoon on the buses! A lot of 2/2a's running in pairs, 3/4s running behind as well. 16668 sat at the underpass with the infobus.

Looks great, it has new seats right? I think it had for a while but can't tell in the pictures. All it needs now is CCTV! Any idea whats next to go up?

The seats have been re-trimmed for ages and it should be 22813 for repaint and retrim once they have repaired the floor in 47017 which had a big hole near the back wheel under the lino.

22817,22825 and 22826 to get the white roof treatment unless they doing them proper this time, instead of rushing like they did when the swoop scheme came out.

Oh is that all!!! Great, so when they are done maybe they will do the remaining S reg's and hopefully the 04 Solos!!! Inside and out!

B10M's are slowly getting treatment, but I think that all of LL's remaining b10m's should get proper de-greasing clean inside and out, as these look to be be the final generation with us! I like how its progressed from Mossbay Metals to a bomb for 34079 haha!

We were spot on then! Any news on where the coaches are going when the X61 moves to Chorley?

Not quite sure, the interiors are knackered and are old livery scheme, i'm aware no money will be spent on refurbing them, i guess they could end up as training vehicles somewhere.

Yeah or sold, not sure if there's really a use for them anywhere else in the region, unless they were converted for school use but that's not worth the trouble.

Well Lillyhall will need something for the 300 as these are getting regular use when the scanias are ill

16447, 16734 and 17017 (when it is fixed again) are all able to cover Scania's on 300. R-NBV's seem to be first choice at minute, with them being fully refurbished.
there's some "standard" Volvo Oly's moving over to North West from Manchester to supposedly cover what goes to Chorley, and replace remaining Leyland Oly's (excluding Carlisle's, as Richard Rose Central Academy School Work is due to cease in January 2011, now that the new school is built in the City Centre).

20910, 52628 and a flip dot Solo on annexe when I went past a few minutes ago.
14258 running dead to Lillyhall just before 1800. i'm assuming a bus came from Maryport Town Services and has replaced it on Moorclose 51 for the last few runs.

Would be great to have enough Olys to replace all the remaining Leylands in the NW!

I'm told 16651/2/3/4 are staying at Lillyhall for the forseeable future, if any transfer to Chorley it will be the N reg's which are being refurbed but thats not yet confirmed either.

Also worth baring in mind that the X61 doesn't move over to CY until Jan so there's still time for things to change lol.
