17012 used to have an advert for the lancaster uni rider when transferred from london in 2004/5

Thinking about it now, it ain't a bad idea considering 17017 is "suppose" to be the LF decker allocation 30/31 route... which goes past ASDA doh!
- i dont think its done a 30/31 yet either (someone correct me if i'm wrong!) just been on 300/Carlisle when Scanias are ill

Bit of an update from Manc:

Princess Road based Tridents 17651-17654 (V151 DFT etc) returned from the paintshop on Friday afternoon in new Magic Bus livery.
Dragons 15185 and 15191 were taken out of use after service on Friday, with (im told) 15198 next to go. Very few left in service now.
That makes 36 Tridents done by my records, just 17660, 17667-17671 out of the 21 remaining ex-Busways examples in white livery now, and all at ST depot mainly for schools, indeed 17670 was on the 192 on Friday afternoon.
Next PS based Tridents to go blue will be 17615, 17644, 17645 & 17646. Only 3 white Tridents will remain at Princess Road once the current paint programme is done, 17067, 17068 & 17614.

I don't think it should return to the 300 very quickly.... it doesn't like it that much !!

Its no wonder! Did it have a new engine/gearbox in the end? If not, the 300 will kill it very quickly as we have seen already!

think its about time 300 was nick-named Bus Killer  quite a few buses have been rather good before constant runs on 300/301!

47062 on a shortened 301 this morning (0825 Workington - Wigton, arriving Wigton 0910, returning from Wigton at 0915, finishing at Whitehaven at 1033).
47617 on Workington Town Services.

Winter timetables have kicked in this morning. 77/77A Buttermere Circulars finished for the winter, 78 back to closed top (usually mini Dart on winter timetables, but Solo Slimline's available this winter). 108 sunday and public holiday services are finished for the winter, 505 cut down to Ambleside - Coniston only with slightly different times, 516 on a shorter timetable, 517 withdrawn for winter. 599 now hourly with closed top bus, operating Bowness - Ambleside only.

the new (and rather oddly designed front page) Cumbria Rider timetable magazine is available here.

20629 is also in that collection, so along with 20305, that's 2 more B10Ms less...

I have the Period 6 fleetcards, but due to technical issues I can't upload them, so if you want them I'll have to email/MSN them....

34214 and 34218 are both listed on the fleetcard as "back on the road January 2011", it doesn't say where though! 34215 has the same note!
Paladin bodied B10M's 20876 and 20987 are both on Merseyside reserve.

Mmmmm well apparently ME are running the X12 from Jan 2011 so they could be for that or they could just be stopping at ME before moving on. I'm sure we'll soon see!!!

16654 and 35248 on 30 and 31.
20923 on Seaton.
20945 on Moorclose 51.

16653, 15683 and 15685 on 300.
16651 and 20994 on 600.
33162 on 69.
34048 on short 685.
16441 been on 66.
20895 out doing catch up runs on Citi services due to an accident in city centre.
20924 was on Citi 76, was replaced late morning by 34703.
both joncks 685.

not directly north west, but Reays have updated their LEDs again, which is p*ssing off a few passengers! 63 now has "Upperby Harraby 63" with "via Boundary Infirmary Circular" on scroll on the front. rear on 64 now scrolls "64 ASDA via St Annes Lowry Hill" on the little tiny LED. one of the 63's also drove straight past West Tower Street while running late, p*ssing off an old woman who was wanting to get on it! she ended up getting Stagecoach.

just as a quick passenger comparison, at approx 10 to 11, Stagecoach 76 to St Anns Hill had 11 passengers on departure from West Tower Street, Stagecoach 62 to ASDA via Lowry Hill had 12. the Reays 64 to ASDA via St Anns Hill (St Annes if you're Reays) and Lowry Hill had a massive 1 passenger, of which was an old woman with a NoW Card.

33138 also has this note, as well as being listed as reserve! (It's actually in Barnsley)

Kendal's ticket machine upgrade to ERG doesn't look to have happened (yet) - 18356 still had a wayfarer this morning.

The darts are very smart with the beachball moquette.

Any idea on location? Kinda hard to say without a rough idea of where...
This was on her facebook profile: about 20 minutes ago i seen a bus smashed to a car and the car door is damaged and the bus smashed two off its windows and am not jokin.

My sis lives near skerton bridge so i'll have a guess somewhere round that way.

The ticket machine upgrade that has so far happened at Kendal and Barrow is to enable them accept "Now" cards for the whole of England without having to issue manual ENCTS tickets. I think Carlisle and West Cumbria are the next two depots to be done.

Thought 40033 would be having something done seeing as 47248 has been at the Uni all day. Glad they are continuing the info bus branding!! Hope they do something with that LED it has!

Have you just been told the Mersey stuff is down for storage? Wonder what will become of the Paladins, think one of them has an LED.

It seems the 555 is cursed accident wise!

Also some Manchester Dragons news:

Just 6 Dragons remain active now, 15193 was withdrawn this morning and taken to Trafford Park this afternoon for storage. Remaining Dragons are 15180, 15188, 15190, 15192, 15195 & 15198. With 4 Tridents being painted blue and due back on Friday (17615, 17644-17646), their days are definitely numbered.
Hyde Road based Trident 17643 is now in Magic Bus livery, with 17623 in paintshop.

17018 on 125/126 tonight.
