If all the speculation is true and an update to the Stagecoach brand is imminent, the pictures floating around would suggest a move to make the brand seem more mature... Whilst beach all was very fitting for the 00's and the stripes fitting of the era before hand.. Whilst to some beachball may still appear fresh and vibrant. And the beachball logo itself isn't a bad brand nor is Stagecoach's reputation with the public toxic... The "irn bru" colour scheme of the interior is however very "In yer face!" it also can look dirty after a very short period of time, It would probably be a sensible idea minimalise the amount of orange used.. Whilst orange isn't considered as being a bad colour it can be associated more with images of fun, carefee, cheerful etc.. Bright and JOLLY, but not all that serious about things, so the move to blues and greys says a little more about "we're reliable dependable and mean business. On the external livery. Whilst many people love Stagecoach as a brand and there is definitely a success story attached to the brand. But whilst it's not a toxic brand many garages lost their colours and in some areas some saw the colours of their local garages as part of their own local history and heritage... And when everyones buses turned white people saw their own town or regions identity go away with the colours, People will always struggle with change and you can never please everyone.... It would appear that the omission of Orange again would be a move to say that Stagecoach are trying to appear more serious and dependable to their current customers, potential customers, and former customers... Getting the balance right will be the challenge.
