Blackpool north is also in a place which is not the biggest place but with a railway station and an airport

This would appear to be a mix-up between Station association and Settlement association IMO...

Suppose so, maybe if I edited the wording ;)

Which I have done at 21:26 PM

Nottingham also has services to stations by 2 airports. Brighton has services to Gatwick and Luton and Nottingham has services to East Midlands parkway and Luton airport

One of the routes served by Mitcham Junction was converted to light rail in the 1990s

I hope I have got this one right....

Colchester also has a long platform with the ability to allow one train to pass another one by the use of a crossover half-way down.

Mmmm, sort of, it has an unusual configuration, but you can't get one proper train past another. The extra bit is little more than a headshunt before a bufferstop. You might just fit a 153 in there, but it would have to reverse before proceeding in its original direction.

To continue, how about Bath, another place with significant Roman remains.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England

You will have noted that I posted a note of tentative reservation over my posting of the matter at Colchester. Thank you for your clarification.

However, to continue in a similar "advisory pedantic" mode, may I suggest that your posting of Bath is rather more suited to to Settlement Association quiz, rather than this Station Association quiz.

I'll solve the whole thing by stating that Oxford used to have through services to Bath (and Cambridge)...

Wakefield Westgate

is also approached in one direction on an impressive viaduct offering views of the city.

Its just a pity that the city isn't much to write a home about

Like Newcastle, Nottingham is an interchange for light rail services

Kings Cross also has a Platform 0, which always seems pointless to me
