Tamworth is also a station with 2 levels on a mainline that has the basic idea of looking like + when looked at from a birds-eye view

EDIT: Just noticed there's a continuation of the crossing line which isn't used by passenger services. My apologies.

Atherstone was also opened by the London and North Western Railway in 1847.

Patchway is also sandwiched between a junction station and a station that only gets a parly service.

On a bright summer day, railway enthusiasts on a spotting / photting / nedding session can sometimes outnumber ordinary passengers at Water Orton

because XC does not manage stations, this is another, served only by XC trains but managed by a different TOC [EM in this case].

P.S. I understand "spotting" and "photting" but what's "nedding"?

'Nedding' is a derogatory term for 'spotting'

Scarborough is another station which could almost be 'rhyming slang' for 'Market Harborough'
