ONLY 22,000 a year?! That's a hell of a lot when you consider that the station has no car parking, and is nowhere near any settlement of any sort. You could almost consider it as a 'Parkway' type station, given that it is one of the more important stations in rural Devon.

Compare with Chapelton further up the line, which only saw 162 passengers last year...

"Looks like"? There's nothing there! If you want an idea of what it's like, there a pub, an antiques museum and sod all else. Even the answer "fields" doesn't apply courtesy of the urban character of the area around it (Southend is the largest urban area in the East of England and will soon merge with Basildon; the gap is about 600m). Even the bridge over the railway is only one lane wide!

This is a guess, but I am very confident that it is correct. I would have to assume that FTM is Fort Matilda. And thus I shall set CGM.
