The way we're going, we will run out of the alphabet soon. It's just a bit of wind.

There's problems all over the North of England - whether it's all weather related I'm not sure - Thirsk earlier, Berwick, Workington (that's historical landslip, granted), 30 hours of prolonged rain in Cumbria per Met Office, speed restrictions I've read but can't remember where, etc, etc.
If the stated 30 hours rainfall in Cumbria leads to a repeat of the floods in the Workington/Cockermouth hinterland, will the plans for the temporary station of Workington North be dusted off?
.
It may be `a bit of wind` but it has already caused chaos on the ECML.
Sam
Wcml shafted between lancaster and carlisle. West coast passengers are being routed via VTEC services but theres flooding along the tyne valley, and ECML is closed for engineering work!
Some of the pictures of Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales look horrendous - as people say it's already falling on saturated ground which isn't making things any easier.
