Hampton Wick and Windsor & Eton Riverside have started repainting.

In the case of the latter, it appears to be retaining the existing blue/white/red scheme (for now).

Was at Windsor and Eton today, didn't see any sign of any work.
The fencing by Platform 1 (adjacent to the car park) and the large double doors (?) by the entrance/ bike rack were being painted when I passed through.

Woking is getting repainted. Hersham, Worplesdon, Milford, Witley and Liphook all repainted.

Are they trying to make the railway as dull and uninviting as possible? To really bring back the spirit of BR?

Kew Bridge is done, and it looks like Barnes may be starting next (fences at the latter have been going grey).

Probably repeating myself but who on earth thinks painting stations grey is a good idea? Utterly miserable and depressing.

Next set of stations in progress: Norbiton, Sunningdale, Queenstown Road.

Redbridge being done

The disused platform 1 at Salisbury has two canopy supporting posts behind a fenced off area still in South West trajns colours! Likewise at Portsmouth and Southsea low level a canopy support post by the buffer stops on platform 3 also has not been painted.

I believe there are certain restrictions on how far the TOC in this case SWR can paint up to. The places you mentioned are the property of NR responsibility.

Well, most of the canopy over the high-level through lines is still in what looks to me like NSE red, albeit much of it is obscured by several decades of grime. Of course that's also a NR, not SWR, responsibility.

Winchester is still half done and yet to be completed. Hope they return soon to finish the job!

Oddly, Basingstoke went from feeling very much like a Southwestern station to a SouthEastern (or Abellio GA) once the painters left. SWR's scheme certainly has no warmth to it.

The aforementioned canopy posts at Salisbury platform 1 have now been painted after all

Hilsea has gained zonal markings on the platforms similar to GWR stations.

Are Haslemere and Guildford next in line?

St Denys still had only a part job one side mostly in the new colours one in the old!

Weybridge and Godalming have that srrange neutral scheme SWT adopted towards the end of their tenure with doors painted a burgundy colour

Guildford is Network Rail operated, so I doubt it’ll be painted in SWR colours

Haslemere must be next? Looking shabby

Chandler's Ford and Swaythling plus oddly one platform at St Denys are still in SWT colours

Godalming and Liss remain in a neutral scheme

Repainting seems to have resumed. Datchet is in progress.

In a general sense couldnt Network Rail and the TOC coordinate their painting programmes?

Surely if TOC is painting the lamposts and platform area, and the canopies above look very shabby it makes sense both logically and financially.

Surely BR didn't have this approach?

It's certainly no worse than the later SWR scheme of everything grey with maroon building doors - a particularly hideous combination.
