Reading to Birmingham NS in 2002 I think. Just before operation Princess. Very new and fairly empty at the time for some reason. Managed to get a table seat which was good.

Wow, 10 years of the Voyager eh. I remember being quite surprised when I saw my first one (I was a 10 yr old naive trainspotter at the time) stood in Swinton station on test. However, as I started seeing them more and more as they became more mainstream I started to dislike them as I realised they'd started replacing my beloved HSTs.

10 years on and I still despise them.

first journey was Bristol Parkway - York, via Doncaster, not sure if that was the norm but remember a 91 shooting through as we stayed in the platform :)
