In the South we have a 158 on what would normally be the Canton Sunday diagram which is good as 158s very rarely appear in the South these days.

No. They are either cancelled or substituted by 197s (and don't work weekends in any case).
The whole fleet is stood down until Wednesday at least. All that will run is the occasional ecs.

Today at Crewe depot (28/4/25):
HD01 connected to 67008
HD03 connected to 67025
HD04 connected to 67022
HD07 connected to 67016
HD01 connected to 67008

5 sets are planned to be readied today for the Marches reopening tomorrow. With only 1 set in Cardiff there will only be 1 start from there with 3 Crewe starts, 1 swapping into either the 0732 to Manchester or on the return at 0910. Having the 3 Crewe starts and only 2 finish will allow the set at Crewe ETD to return to Crewe ATC.
As long as all goes well with the reopening, Tomorrow should be:
HD01+67008 1V33 start then rest of booked diagram
HD02+67014 1W13 1V39 then swaps to 1W63
HD03+67025 1V31 diagram then works 1W96 rather than 1W63
HD04+67022 Exam
HD05+67010 1V91 and rest of booked diagram
HD06+67017 ECS ETD to Crewe ATC
HD07+67016 1W11 or 1V37 from Crewe then rest of booked diagram

1W63 now 197016 + 197013, 008 set 1 last seen on 5V33.
Brake fault on 67. Will now be replaced by 67015 for the morning.
A very poor day all round.

Canton capacity issues most likely, if set 1 can't get off Canton now it'll take set 7's place there ready for service tomorrow morning with set 2.

Good evening, does anyone have any knowledge on 1V50's state after the May TT change in terms of it returning to Swansea, will it continue to terminate at Central or has the Canton issues been resolved? Thanks for any information in advance.
Correct, it was prepped and ready to roll, even the 197s were reassigned.

Yep, Trust now showing that 158820 is taking over this working from Shrewsbury. Presumably the original 1V33 has terminated at Stockport because it's still there as of 07:22.
