Yup Peter is correct, it runs Wembley to Northampton once during the day on Fridays as a train crew 'refresher' before working 18:43 Euston to Crewe this evening.

No it won't, only 125mph paths were available, so WB64 was going to release the 390 by running an EBW diagram, but NR & VT couldn't agree to pathing times or something

The extended journey times & lack of paths would probably make that pretty unviable. Although surely the DfT/FA could have footed the bill for VT to hire one or two EMT HSTs since only 125mph paths were available, although these would have had to have been non-stop/very limited stop due to acceleration and dwell times...

HSTs cannot operate at 125mph over most of the WCML as they cannot travel at EPS speeds.

Proberbly, I ceriously dowbt that VT are the only charters running, there will proberbly be somthing intresting running from stations on the outskirts of Manchester aswell as Picadilly and Victoria, and they won't nesseserally show up on the NRE Website if the're charters. I'm supprised the're not running any charters from Manchester United FC Halt or Victoria...

The 18:43 departure from Euston runs to Crewe via Birmingham Monday - Friday in the current timetable.

Indeed. I am on the 50minutes late 390 032 to Wolverhampton. Shall photograph the Pretendo next to it's idol and get the 20:45 back home. I have a bad feeling 390 032 will form the service which wont help me one bit! Already had it in January. Twice in one day would just be irritating!

I saw it today as well it was 90045, I saw it pass woverton at 15:30. Although the new freightliner livery doesn't look that bad I have to say (I even saw my first class 70 today as well not as bad as I thought!)
