We enter said station and take the 1014 Chiltern Railways service to Leamington Spa, arriving 1059 on Saturday morning.
We have just enough time to take 1P66, the 2337 First TransPennine Express service to York, arriving 0003 on Sunday morning.
With the Sunday trains from Chorley being replaced by buses, we take the 1342 Northern Replacement Bus Service to Leyland, arriving 1411 on Sunday afternoon.

We don't take into account replacement buses, we go on the normal working timetable.
Is this different though as it is a big one and the line is closed for ages.
These are indeed long term changes - I can't actually find any obvious timetable for what would be running if the work wasn't being done. I agree this move is completely fine, even if it temporarily confused us all.The line closures, service changes and replacement buses for the Preston - Bolton - Manchester electrification are major, longer-term 7-day-a-week events (scheduled to last at least until October), for which the TOCs have gone to the trouble of publicising & printing special timetables.
Walking up the station approach incline to the bus stop on the other side of Finney Lane outside the telephone exchange, we board the 1830 Stagecoach Manchester service 369 to Adswood (Bird Hall Lane/Fleming Works) that arrives there at 1843 on Sunday evening.
