We then board the 16:04 Virgin Trains service to Crewe, arriving there at 16:29 on a Friday.
We decide to call it a day, and retire to our accommodation.
Morning comes! We have options. The one we plump for is the 07:26 TransPennine Express rail service to Penrith North Lakes, arriving there at 08:57 on Saturday morning.
I agree, but this service is permitted by the rules...moreso, who in their right mind is going to wake up before five to board the train to Penrith when there is one at half seven, especially when they've been travelling until half-past one? There are way earlier services. There's one at 0454 for Penrith.
Afraid not. There is allowed to be a break between 23:00 and 05:00. Even allowing for the 2 hours plus interchange time, 07:24 is still too late.I agree, but this service is permitted by the rules...moreso, who in their right mind is going to wake up before five to board the train to Penrith when there is one at half seven?
I like my moves to be realistic Honestly, I think that service is pretty much purely for people who want to arrive in Glasgow before nine.
