Over to Platform 10A now for the 08:44 Greater Anglia service towards Colchester. We take this train as far as Marks Tey Railway Station, arriving at 09:33 on Tuesday morning.
Here we leave the railway station and takes the six minute walk to the bus stop that is adjacent to The Green on Colchester Road, where we board the 1037 Headingham Omnibuses service 88 to Halstead (Conies Road) that arrives there at 1105 on Tuesday morning.
Crossing over to the bus station, we then board the 1340 First Essex service X30 to Southend-on-Sea (Victoria Station Interchange), arriving there at 1434 on Tuesday afternoon.
This is the only bus that serves this area, so we have no option other than to return on the 1543 First Essex service 20 to Rayleigh (Railway Station), arriving there at 1553 on Tuesday afternoon.
Deciding to change operators services here, we next board the 1617 Regal Busways service 3D to Howe Green (outside the White Lodge on Hemmingfield Road) that arrives there at 1651 on Tuesday afternoon.
Again not many services serve here, however we are lucky to find one more for the day, which is the 1741 Regal Busways service 1B which we take to Hadleigh
(Church) , arriving there at 1835 on Tuesday evening.
Then we walk to bus stop O outside the station and catch the 2123 London General service 74 to Putney Bridge Station where we arrive on stop FE (Gonville Street) at 2135 on Tuesday evening.
I am unsure if you meant to say Red Lion Road above as the arrival point....
We take the nine minute walk to the bus stop of King Charles Road on Ewell Road and board the 2304 London United service 281 to Hounslow (Grove Road on Hanworth Road) that arrives there at 2345 on Tuesday evening.
That appears to be it for the rest of the day, so we call it a night before heading to the adjacent bus stopboarding the 0528 First in Berkshire and the Thames Valley service 10 to Heathrow Airport (Terminal 5), arriving there at 0542 on Wednesday morning.
With Terminal 5 being home to BA, we decide not to take to the skies and instead descend into the bowels of the airport. We head down to the Piccadilly Line platforms and join the jet lagged American tourists heading into London on the 05:58 departure. We head right through the city and still on until Arnos Grove, alighting there at 07:19 on Wednesday morning.
Exiting the station to the adjacent bus stops, we then board the 0730 Metroline service 34 to Barnet (Church), arriving there at 0754 on Wednesday morning.
