Perranporth still retains its traditional image of a family-orientated holiday resort with a wide flat beach and traditional shops, in which we find somewhere to have a snack and a hot drink, before returning to the bus stop where we board the 1417 Western Greyhound service 587 to Crantock (Winstowe Terrace) that arrives there at 1450 on Friday afternoon.

We decide to have a hearty Saturday mid-day meal and see what Lostwithiel is like, before returning to the railway station where we decide upon a southerly direction for the next leg of the journey, so we board the 1329 FGW service to Camborne that arrives there at 1421 on Saturday afternoon.
