I've been caught up in the Kings Cross disruption this morning on my journey from Stevenage to Digby & Sowton. Great Northern have put in place ticket acceptance from Cambridge with Greater Anglia which is nothing really as I believe all GN tickets from Cambridge are routed Any Permitted which would allow travel into Liverpool Street anyway.
No ticket acceptance has been put in place at St Albans, Luton or Bedford to assist passengers from other stations which is not very good from Great Northern so I'm currently heavily delayed.
It got me thinking though. Say ticket acceptance was put in place at Luton and I'd driven there and made my journey from there. Later on the disruption gets resolved and ticket acceptance at Luton is removed. I need to return to Luton as that's where my car is.
Would I be allowed to travel back to Luton without 'hassle' or without having to buy an additional ticket?
