No I dont think they did. I found the taxi raceing very funny.
The television center segment seemed a bit pointless to me.
I thought it was the most interesting part of an otherwise forgettable show.
What did May meean at the end that the BBC have started using it again? Not heard anything about that.
BBC Worldwide, Films (?) and Post Production still use it, as well as the fact the renovated studios will sometimes be rented by the BBC to use.
With the Ferrari at the end, I'm slightly confuseds as to why he talks about the car working in Letchworth when he's quite clearly driving through Pitlochry, and then talks about Hertfordshire when he's up in the Highlands (apparently on the A93).

What a fantastic ending to the programme tonight. Proud to be British and, for once, not just go with the flow of moaning and whingeing!

Almost brought a tear to the eye. Almost felt like standing up and saluting.
Look beyond the badge and what you have is British engineering excellence, British workmanship and British pride in a job well done.
Unfortunately the following programme then told how the profit from nearly every car made in Britain goes to Germany and elsewhere.
How a company spends its profit is a decision for its shareholders. Wherever that company is based, and as long as it is traded on an open stock market, anyone can benefit from that profit.
we have foreign companies buying our businesses to take our profits.
I found the 80s hot hatches bit great, wasn't so impressed by the rest
