Hi,

I'd really appreciate help in tracking down my final Freightliner Class 70 - 70005.

I've seen from recent photos posted on Flickr that the loco is active on services out of both Southampton and Felixstowe, so hopefully it's going to be working on Wednesday 10th May.

Can somebody please let me know it's booked workings on Wednesday morning.

To save the OP a wasted journey, those workings are for today, not Wednesday;
unfortunately, it's a bit too early at the moment to predict what it might work tomorrow.

Evening all,

Could one of you amazing people tell me if 158884 is running at the moment? Last I heard it was in for works, but I'm hoping it's back as I intend to chase it in late-ish June. Preferably before then but we'll see.

Took photos from a distance too far to see the numbers.

Not sure if it's going to help now but currently work 4O15 07:21 LAWLYSFLT to SOTON M T due to go through Eastleigh at 11:23 and Southampton stn at 11:40, currently running 5 early

Thanks for the info - I looked at what possible services 70005 could work after arrival at Lawley Street, and took a guess at something heading down to Southampton on Wednesday morning.

It passed through Reading West about 15 minutes after I got there, so happy days :)
