Mr Greedy carrot man!
I’ve got the email too. The mouse is on its way.
Day off tomorrow and kids are at nursery will give it my full attention. Reading back in the thread I think the maths is going to be difficult

Glad to see you both have got the email.
I haven't recieved it yet, I sent an email earlier on today about something else as well as the tests, had a reply back but nothing mentioning about the online tests yet.
Hopefully I'm not the only person still waiting for the online tests for the afternoon assessment on Monday still ...

Just got my feedback. Failed on group bourdon and tea occ. I practiced for months so not sure what to do now. I didn't have much sleep before the tests but I thought in my practice tests I was ok

Practice and try again for next time.
You know what to expect when you reapply so you'll be at an advantage. I failed my first time of applying and this time passed the first stage, so you can definitely do it, just don't give up. Good luck.

If that was your first attempt you can try again. I think it will tell you on your reply. Best wishes

Bit late but just wanted to say congratulations on making it through and getting into the talent pool :)
I noticed your comment reading through the thread

Thankyou, that’s kind of you. The waiting is so difficult. I wish you all the very best for your next attempt or challenge whatever and wherever that may be.

@2011dandd I was thinking something similar, it's a bit of a relief I'm not only one.

Remember seeing a post with someone saying 20ish but think that was for last years intake.

From memory it was about 40 per session (AM and PM). U divide up into 4 groups for group exercises then form an orderly queue for the "speed interviews". Afterwards the assessors from HR and DMs have a wash up and bin half your applications, so my advice, be memorable and get noticed.

Thanks for the heads up @Spankthemonkey

Jesus I’ve just done the numerical online assessment. Only managed to answer 10 of the 18 questions. Personally that was very hard for me, I have not completed anything like that in the 20 years since leaving school

Are these tests used in the hiring process at all? Or are they only used to determine an individuals ability in that skill?

Your welcome and thank you :)
I'd say make the most of your spare time as once you've got the call from them, I doubt you'll have much spare time on your hands

Yeah I've read they are quite hard, did you do the practice tests? I think the tests are just due to the fact, that this time we are applying for an apprenticeship role and Maths and English qualifications are generally done as part an apprenticeship programme.

got mine yesterday good news, stage 2 on the 18th march pm

Congratulations, I passed and will be there on the 18th pm also. Did you attend the morning or afternoon session on the 15th for the stage 1 tests?

Think you both are on the same day as myself on Monday 18th in the afternoon( not sure if I've missed anyone out) just wondering if you both have received the online assessments yet?
As I'm still waiting for mine

@Justy that makes sense. I have the relevant GCSE qualifications at c and above anyway so hopefully that will be enough?
@Diesel08 jts all collective data questions there are graphs and and data and the answers are all in front of you. The hard part is working out which is the right one.

Got to stop stressing about this process and getting worked up. I’m putting the effort in as I’m sure we all are around all other commitments and responsiblitys. I want this job as much as anybody I can guarantee that, but I need to keep in mind that worrying about it will solve nothing.

Good luck to everyone on Monday am and pm and everyone else at some stage of the process for that matter.

See you there on Monday morning I’l be the bloke hobbling around (latest football injury)
Hopefully the group assessment is t a bloody baton race!!

Hi chaps, I too am attending Stage 2 on 18th pm. I haven’t had the online tests through either. Also, can anyone confirm whether there is a formal interview Monday? Or is it purely group/solo exercises?

@2011dandd yeah you should be fine with the certificates you have already.
Good luck to you and everyone else too :)

@Lbde I sent another email only to be told the online assessment was sent by another company on Wednesday and to check my junk/spam folder  it was there all along.
I did look before but obviously missed it.
But seems like others have asked as well by the email I got. If you haven't already make sure you check your junk folder.
The next part is only a group task and an individual task as well (I think) as well as the speed interviews.

How long do you normally wait for results for drivers manger interview?

It depends on when you have it. Both times my interview has been towards the end of all the interviews, which are typically held over about 2 weeks, so both times I've had my interview on a Thursday or Friday and found out a couple of days later but if your interview is at the start of the dates they're holding them you have to wait till all the interviews are complete before hearing back - that's my understanding anyway.

Hi everyone, my first post but this forum has been a goldmine for me these last few weeks so a big thank you to everyone who has contributed now and in the past

Has anyone who did the group tests on Mon March 18th (4 days ago) heard anything yet? I've been sat here all week wondering how many out of the 40 of us there are likely to get through :s

Hey, I was there on the 18th Morning. Marie said she would not be in the Office this Thursday but would hopefully let us all know today. However that might slip. She said she wouldn't keep anyone waiting good or bad news, so fingers crossed we find out either way today we find out today.

Weirdly I'm glad you both posted similar responses, I'm constantly refreshing my junk (emails, its not a dirty euphemism...)

Fingers crossed for everyone!

Regularly refreshing your junk is generally considered best practice either way ;)

I'm sorry to hear that :frown: I haven't had an email yet, not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign.

I haven't heard anything either. It must take a long time to provide individual feedback but hopefully we will find out on Monday.
