how one of the drivers explained it they were doing diferent failure modes of one vehicle while the other one recovered it all went well im toldWhat's a rescue test? Finding out how they can be towed back if they fail?
Was this still in the depot or have they finally been allowed out for on-network testing?how one of the drivers explained it they were doing diferent failure modes of one vehicle while the other one recovered it all went well im told

On the Depot
Apparently sohttps://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/tr...XfB2zofWL8To-RCh25weUFOM2iDFRCRM0RffdDCkl1adU
Apparently this is a 769 delivery on Tuesday (3/3/20) - is this the fourth unit...?
They have three at the moment so this would be the fourth. I've seem videos of two moving around Pullmans. If they are delivering another one then they must be pretty confident they work. Are there four? Only knew of two?
Can't see any paths for Rhymney training on RTT. Perhaps they are planning to stay in the depot for another week.
The first three are 769002, 769008 and 769006, delivered on 14/3/19, 15/5/19 and 4/12/19 respectivelyIf they are delivering another one then they must be pretty confident they work. Are there four? Only knew of two?
allocated unit numbers are 769002/003/006/007/008, 769426 and 3x unidentified 769/4s. there's no 769009Another delivery due this week. So far I know tfw are waiting for 769003 and 769009
There’s a surprise, who wasn’t expecting that?Nope, cancelled today
The 769 story so far......
Total farce!
When were these supposed to have entered service?
Might had been quicker to third rail the valley lines and use them as 319s.
I thought the Valleys were getting tram-trains eventually?
The 769s sound short gap (pardon the pun lol).
Even shorter now they are heavily delayed!
They were always for short term use. They’ll now just be for short term use.
769s are going to be exclusively used on the Caerphilly/Bargoed Line.
Presumably we'll see them in Penarth as the Bargoeds run through to there?
