Really I'd say the answer is no, because "night" is defined as the period of time between sunset and sunrise, and "shine" means to cast light... but obviouly the sun is still shining somewhere but you just can't see it.

Proably more a trick answer than a trick question :)

Anyway that was my best shot, so the floor is open!

You are driving in a Formula one race and you overtake the car that is in third place; where do you finish if the race stops at that point?

Edited to add: Cross posted - answer the one above mine first please ↑↑↑↑↑

Unless you also cross the start finish line before the race finished, 4th... FiA rules state you need to have crossed the SF line, and if the race terminates early by finishing at 'that point' a countback is conducted to the last full lap.

A guy in a pub in Dublin told me this one:

Brothers and sisters have I none, but that man's father is my father's son.

Who am I ?

A priest in Ireland that had a son? Scandal! :D

Not quite what I was getting at :D:D

If I was a Catholic priest, 'That man's father(in the religious sense)' would be me if I'm pointing out one of my parishioners, and I am of course my fathers (in the paternal sense) son.

A man lives on the 10th floor of a block of flats and every morning he gets the lift down 10 floors to go to work. When he comes home, he takes the lift up 5 floors and walks the rest. Why?

He's short and can't reach any buttons above the one he presses.

How many roads are there in the City of London?
(This refers to the boundaries of the Borough of the City of London)
