Perhaps verging on the territory of these Forums' "Cryptic clues = station name" game: but, there comes to mind a possible alternative / "translated" name for Northern Ireland Railways' Ballymoney station: "1 Timothy 6:10" -- well-known biblical words, "the love of money is the root of all evil". It might be quite appreciated -- they tend to be a religious bunch over there.
I wish, so tasty. I know these as 'Sad Cakes' locally.

Pleasington > Unpleasington
Rose Grove > Thorny Grove (That one sounds like a plausible suburb or village name haha)
Blackburn > Black Death burn
