It was mentioned in another thread that an Anglia Plus Day Ranger went up from £19 to £24, a whopping 26% increase. Can anyone beat that?

Me too - but I think it's still a pretty good deal.Ouch - I use those regularly
I agree it's still a good deal if you're planning to make a day of it, but £12.50 with my Gold Card was an absolute steal. On the plus side, it may encourage me to go further afield more regularly...
Did GA finally get round to allowing the Anglia Plus with a gold card discount? as that is good to know

I'm sorry but the Cornwall Ranger one is ridiculous. It is a similar area to Devon (Day Ranger £13) and yet £5 more!?! I understand it is valid on buses but surely this does not account for almost a whole quater of the ticket. If thi sis the case, would it not be sensible to introduce a simpler, rail only version of the ticket, by which railcard and child discounts properly apply?

It's the 'Ride Cornwall Ranger' which includes buses. The Cornwall Ranger is rail only. £12.50 per the NRE site.
The Ride Cornwall Day Ranger (including buses) was just £10 three years ago. Equivalent product today, £18. A whopping 80% increase in just three years.
That Cornwall Ranger is new(ish) if you want just rail travel, if you want one including bus it's an extra £5.50. The price rise might be down to the bus companies wanting a bigger slice of the pie?
