As it did last week when first mentioned, you have to be quick in this sort of thread...
Hahaha! So it seems, I did look for it, in case it had already been mentioned, but obviously missed it!

And I just mentioned that above your post.Slightly different, but Sloane Square tube station has the River Westbourne flowing over it enclosed within an iron bridge.
And I just mentioned that above your post.
Sloane Square station is directly under the River Westbourne - it passes above in an aqueduct that can clearly be seen (and heard) from the platforms.
Yes I am aware! We have all missed that! Still it's great fun, and a bit of fun whilst many at home....and I’d already mentioned in post 51.
Surprised I didn't remember it, as Hampton Court was my local station half-a-lifetime ago!The River Mole about half way down the platform at Hampton Court. Surprised not mentioned already (or have I missed it) as it's quite a big river.
The hotel follows the line of the "Hotel Curve" that used to link the Metropolitan Railway with Platform 16 of the GNR station.According to "London's Lost Rivers" by Tom Bolton, the River Fleet, now the Fleet sewer & no longer visible, runs underneath Kings Cross station. It says the curved front of the Great Northern Hotel follows the line of the former river bank.
A commonly held belief, but it actually doesnt. The hotel follows the line of the "Hotel Curve" that used to link the Metropolitan Railway with Platform 16 of the GNR station.
To the extent that there are "No Fishing" signs on the platforms!Ha!
How many of the above stations can you actually look down over the river, over the platform fence? NB Ryde pier head is an obvious answer - dunno why that didn't immediately spring to mind!
