The top of The Shard still looks unfinished.
I love Preston Bus Station. Was very happy when it was Grade listed.Stuff like Preston bus station look very classic
If we're counting buildings that have since been demolished too, I'd say Paragon House outside of what's now Hull Paragon Interchange.
(Source: Wikimedia).
Although the first time I visited Hull was in 1999, I never visited the city centre during the time Paragon House was still standing and only did so after the St Stephens shopping mall was built. There's many people I've seen on a Facebook group about the history of Hull complaining that the St Stephens shopping mall and the changes to the train station to be several steps backwards. The first time I went to Hull this was still standing and it was the first thing that greeted me on arrival into Hull and kind of left me with a bad impression of the city, I've since been back several times since it's been demolished, the area around the station, St Stephens shopping mall and the City centre it's self have all seen huge improvements and now I rather like Hull, very under-rated city with a reputation it doesn't really deserve any more.
Surely this has to make the listView attachment 57836
Yes, or else it would've faced demolishing.I love Preston Bus Station. Was very happy when it was Grade listed.
Yeah that's pretty bad. Even the blue sky isn't helping...Ladies and gentlemen I give you Brunel House in Portsmouth. This one is another case of neglect as it has been derelict for 30 years
The statue looked better when he was given an ersatz blue and white shirt a few years ago...The statue, right?
Cleaned up that wouldn't look too bad to me. Again neglect has played a part in its appearance.
That is fairly disgusting. And I thought Cardiff Uni's was bad. The way it's just plonked by the river is gross. It wasn't neglected, they looked after it. The trouble was it was massively out of scale for the rest of the town and the concrete discoloured very very quickly. Concrete normally does.
Anyway, I nominate the Durham Students' Union building. As hideous to work in as it was to look at.
It's just missing "those green remembered buses". Apologies to A E Housman.Stuff like Preston bus station look very classic
I don't think it's that awful - it could perhaps do with a clean, but I do quite like it.It wasn't neglected, they looked after it. The trouble was it was massively out of scale for the rest of the town and the concrete discoloured very very quickly. Concrete normally does.

Panic stricken! Also Torness nuclear power stations looks panic stricken
Like most 1960/70's buildings, the main thing that's wrong with it is that it's dirty.County Hall in Aylesbury is particularly hard on the eyes....

Give it a good clean and sort out the ground floor with some greenery and it wouldn't be at all unattractive.
