Hello,

Could some kind person give some issuing instructions for the adult train only dayrover (where it can be found on the screens, etc) please.

Isn't it printed on special stock? I'm sure any clerk would know how to issue it. IIRC all they need to do is feed it into the machine to date it.

Special stock is optional for the train only ticket.

With respect, you haven't answered my question, and that link certainly doesn't.

My question is about how to issue this ticket using the various forms of booking office software (for example, is it on the rovers section? is 'west yorkshire train dayrover' a destination in its own right? etc).

Thanks in anticipation to anyone who can answer this question.

On FasTIS it can be issued from the normal ticket issuing screen by entering "M Train Dayrover" as the destination or from the Rover screen (accessed by pressing F1, then F7 from the main screen) by entering "West Yorkshire Train Dayrover".

On STAR it's located in the 'Manual Fares > Rovers & Rangers' menu. I can't recall the exact wording on its listing, but I believe that searching 'West Yorks' will bring it up. It's then just a case of selecting it and it will issue on standard stock.

Can the WY products still be issued like that? The GM tickets have gone and can now only be issued from the rover screen (and require a name).

The WYPTE, SYPTE, TfGM, Merseyrail and NWM products are all still showing in walk-up mode on FasTIS+ down here in Chiltern land, and will quite happily drop into the basket, so I'm guessing we can still issue them that way.

Hmmmm, that's interesting, the TfGM ones definitely can't on FasTis up here.

Can also be purchased on the train too, if it is train only.

Not sure on the train and bus one as for special stock, but the Family one has to be issued on the special stock (although it is saleable on standard stock, it could cause problems)

I've purchased these (on common orange stock) in SWTland recently. Others have boguht them from London Overground on TfL RSP stock with roundel watermarks
