Agreed.

Just imagine how taxing it is for those of us who live on the fringes of the "Big Smoke". Life's just too darn short.

Actually, 6: You forgot Larkhall ;)

It's all my local one's, like Airdrie and Blairhill, that you've got alternatives, like Argyle Street and Bellgrove. Also, I dodn't cheat for C, V and Q ;) It's just the density of stations in Glasgow and the fact that I'm out in Coatbridge with the North Clyde Line, Whifflet Line, I'm close to Cumbernauld, I'm also close to S. Lanarkshire, loads of things.

PS: IBM's closer than Irvine ;)

EDIT: I've just updated my original post: turns out I forgot about my local station, Kirkwood

I asked Google for a crow fly distances and from Glasgow City Centre Irvine is closer (though its less than 2 miles in it) But from your home that may be different.

Ah, yes, but I'm not in Newcastle - office is in Hexham, home is in Prudhoe.... (not that I suppose 24 and 12 miles makes much difference...)

Well okay if we are getting picky on precise names, my half time subs are:

O - Oldham werneth (for Oxford road)
V - Valley (for Victoria)

Can't be asked with pretend stations (metrolink)
