Not particularly surprising given that the Routemasters on the 11 were one of the few routes that had route-specific branding.

I'm not sure I follow the logic there.

Both the 24 and the 11 go close to my old work (the 11 right past the door - I used to jump on them as they waited at the lights at Sloane Square) but that's now moved so I won't be catching one regularly until they assign a route a bit nearer me...

Route-specific branding → touristy routes → more exposure → natural choice


The 11 is probably the number one tourist route although there were several Routemaster routes with route specific branding
