Are any of the first three services x Plymouth this week booked to be double Voyagers due to the decreased frequencies (i.e. one train an hour) on the Bristol - Birmingham corridor?

09:27 from Manchester to (I presume) Bournemouth was a double over Stockport Viaduct today, though not sure about the whole journey?
Has been an almost guaranteed double set from Bournemouth on a Friday afternoon for some years, IIRC. Did it once run Monday as well?Yes it was 0731 bhm to man then 0927 man to Bournemouth then 1445 Bournemouth to Manchester. I think it does 2005 man to Birmingham

(The abandoned 2015 consultation intended advancing it to an earlier departure time from Manchester and Bournemouth, and was possibly making it run every day, but that’s probably overtaken by events.)
The 1445 off Bournemouth (I wrongly thought 1345) was being discussed back in 2012 here: https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/xc-double-voyagers.75269/#post-1278445
I was at Man Picc Friday evening at around 19:40 and 220024 and 220017 were linked together, somewhere around Plat4/5, but I didn't catch which service it was on. Likely the Brum one then.Yes it was 0731 bhm to man then 0927 man to Bournemouth then 1445 Bournemouth to Manchester. I think it does 2005 man to Birmingham

Think that's normally the 2007 from Manchester, which has one set locked OOU.

Actually both set is in service. Your on about 2127 man-bhm which has the ex 1545 Bournemouth-man set locked. The ex arrival from Exeter set is in service. Monday to Fridays only.
Not quite allocated for a double, but a triple XC set was sighted at Exeter recently (13 car).
ECS indeed, lights were off from what I can see in the video. Was it in service? As triple usually ecs movement.

Triple has been used on VTWC though, has it not?

Its booked during the Filton BlockadeLast Thursday 8th Nov the 1S37 06.45 Bristol TM - Edinburgh (via Stroud) was a double voyager as far as Birmingham New St. Not sure if this was a one off as the following day, Friday 9th, it was a single.
Yes. Not sure which ones they are off the top of my head though.Hi,
Does anyone know if there's any double sets (or even HST's) booked to run on Sundays 18th and 25th. I am travelling from Derby to Swindon/Bristol (if Bristol is still closed) in the afternoon/evening. Many thanks
No problem. If you get a chance to find out it would be greatly appreciated.Yes. Not sure which ones they are off the top of my head though.

Hi
Monday-Thursday
0703 Birmingham-Edinburgh
1307 Edinburgh-Plymouth (train splits at Gloucester)
1125 Plymouth-Dundee (couples at Bristol, and splits at (Newcastle)
Fridays
07:31 Birmingham-Manchester via Stoke
09:27 Manchester-Bournemouth
1445 Bournemouth-Manchester
2007 Manchester to Birmingham.
Same as above.
Note 1307 Edinburgh to ply is not a HST anymore over the summer period.
That's an old post and is out of date nowQuite surprised these are the only booked double sets. Not many really. How many extra sets would the franchise need (rough estimate) to run a decent amount of double sets through the core at peak times?

It was at 2am so I doubt it... there was a video on Facebook though.Any pictures?
ECS due to the sea wall being shut to all traffic so Voyagers and an HST were dumped in Riverside Yard to free the platforms up.Was it in service? As triple usually ecs movement.
