Hi Peter;

Here is the excerpt from TRUST for one of the vehicles in 720505. TRUST can only support queries for individual vehicles and not sets...and there is no useful gen on GENIUS.
The upshot is that it could be in Ilford, Wembley or Long Marston. Any chance of it working soon looks slim...

Sadly no! I went back to uni after my last entry to do my Masters and then life happened. I've been toying with doing another entry but the stuff I wrote about the CTRL wasnt historically accurate. I could go back and revise it but that might be a bit weird. But maybe I could tie it up a bit more neatly...

Hi I was in your area Saturday and took a good few shots from the footbridge round the corner. I started in Havant but I note the footbridge has had a wire fence put up on the parapet prohibiting photography (unless you're lucky enough to be over 6ft)

Hello. Yes, the footbridge at the eastern end (past the station car park) has mesh on it (but strategic holes for cameras!) Bridge facing west (by station's taxi rank) has no mesh. Bedhampton station is one stop west of Havant; it has a LSWR footbridge with no fencing, it offers clear photos both directions.
Most impressed with your video Bob. What wonderful research and then bringing things right up to date. Could you tell me how you made the diagrammatic maps of routes and what camera you use?

Kind Regards, Envoy.
Didn't know an update to my status would create such a ruckus!!

Hmmm! Think it's an automatic upgrade after having made a certain, but unspecified, number of posts. Have to say that 'Established Member' perhaps had more of a ring to it!
Hi Buddy

Trainee signaller here currently going though IST

I'm approaching the final written exam and our WDM is being tight lipped about what will be on the test. I was wondering if you had any advice for the test and which areas I need to pay particular attention to?
No worries at all if not, just thought id ask.
thanks
Hi, I have been told you good person to look over and proof read a draft of a letter to rail company off the back of intent to prosecute letter.

I am deeply sorry for what has happened. I understand the importance of having a valid ticket for the entire journey, and I sincerely regret this decision.

This incident has taught me the importance of ensuring that I have the correct ticket before traveling. I assure you that I have learned from this experience and will be sure to never do this in the future.

I would be grateful to settle this matter without the need for court action. I am willing to pay the outstanding fare for the journey as well as any administrative costs incurred by the train company in dealing with this matter.

Yours sincerely,

Visited St. Peter's Square (Metrolink) tram stop yesterday (14AUG2024), and all of the TVMs there were offering the Zone 1 only tickets. Looks like the issue which you noted, has now been 'resolved'.
