I seem to remember a plan for trams from Norwich railway station to the city centre.

Why do you need to arrive at Peterborough at 10.39 for a 15.00 kick off? There's plenty of trains that will get there in time. As for strengthening the train to a double unit, what services would you suggest EMR cancel to faciltate this?

Because a large number of freight locomotives and drivers are being used for engineering trains.

We used to call it the penal colony. If you had done something bad BR wouldn't sack you, but instead send you the Brick to sort parcels.
