    Why do you need to arrive at Peterborough at 10.39 for a 15.00 kick off? There's plenty of trains that will get there in time. As for strengthening the train to a double unit, what services would you suggest EMR cancel to faciltate this?

    My salary on joining BR in 1973 as a ticket office clerk was £660 plus half rate London Allowance of £18, just over £13 a week.
