Look who is happy to keep company of my poor performance by scoring low in Round 11. ;)

Anyway I'm not challenging for the top so no need to mention it as it has no impact on the top.

Not for long! (I hope.)

Lead doubled to 20 points.

Yes, but that will only happen with a bit of luck and/or consistent performance from you, which if your entries so far this season is anything to go by ...

Gap is still increasing. Now 25 points. All up-to-date.

Another useless Championship round <(

If I have read this correctly, from today's ten games in the world's most unpredictable and thus useless football division I have scored a grand total of three points - for correctly guessing the number of goals scored by Barnsley, Peterborough and Cardiff.

Someone fetch me a hammer. Hitting myself with it might help.

Outside of the Championship though, I've scored at least one and often three points in every game...

I think I've scored 1 3-pointer and 4 5-pointers this round, but I think the Championship is frustrating everyone at the minute!

Apologies I haven't really got round to doing the admin side of things last few weeks. Round 15 will be next weekend and I will release the fixtures when I get round to it.

Hope everything's OK at present B?

The TPL's been a bit quiet of late, not least because you've been so busy. Maybe it's time to invoke that offer I made from whenever-it-was?

Yes, thanks.

Apologies I have a few things tying me up at the moment.

I will update the scoring over the course of this weekend and throughout next week.

@atomicdanny. The compromise solution I have been using previously for entries that are late is that all twenty matches (or however many that actually went ahead) will be scored, but the voided ones will count as zero each. As a result the entry gets whatever the still eligible games score but the overall effect on the Average Points Table will likely be negative due to all the zeros scored by the voided games. I can score your entry for this weekend, but you will have scores for two games spread over 20 matches so you will likely drop down the Average Points Table a fair bit without much gained in the other table. Your decision.

in that case you might as well ignore the two scores :) and its only two points there so void them off completely :) (I say this an will probably lose by two points by the end )

All, all fixture dates have been released together with all games to be predicted barring a few in Round 19. Please make sure that you are aware of when the entries are due.

I am going to be fairly busy with other things for a few weeks so will not be able to send out reminders until the end of the season. Good luck.

Wasn't brilliant :|

I missed the deadline for the first four matches (thanks a lot Uni Internet <() and averaged 1.2 from the other 15 played thus far, with only one 5-pointer.

I probably shouldn't have bothered at all...

This is not a request for my entry to be forfeited. I put in too much effort just accessing the fixtures to forfeit!

It was a fun night scoring entries for Rounds 12-16. Full of surprises, cock-ups and inept performances. Just like the real football league really.

Well done and appreciation to you for getting this done.

I note you say that no-one had the confidence to tip Liverpool at Reading; well, why should we? Amazing to see that we had a collective 0-pointer - and a round in which everyone scored a bonus! If no bonus is drawn that isn't even possible...

I'm just glad I'm defending the main title and not the Average title this time around, because otherwise this would have been a Leeds 1992 -esque defence :p

Quite a lot of results in the Championship in the past 6-8 weeks or so have been truly bizarre, when you consider them.

I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to watch the Football League Show and pay attention to what they say about about each club, for example, 'out of form Leicester City' and use that as a basis for the following round(s).

The Premier League is a bit easier to predict normally, as big club v small club will 8 times out of 10 result in a win for the big club. Trouble is, the PL on contributes a small number of points in each round ....

Top of the table with two rounds to go and a strong weekend for Round 19 :p

Like I said before, I'm glad I'm defending the full title and not the average one, although my performance in said League won't have been hurt by this latest round...

Sorry not if this counts as gloating :p

A very good round indeed. 47 points is a high total at any time. Shame that it could not be topped up by more bonus points.

If I've worked this out right, after yesterday's 17 games Danny and I still have the same number of points - and my having had one more precise result means that the first tie-breaker is level too so I would lose on the second tie-breaker! What is it with me losing on tie-breakers of late? :(

Still, three games remain, and then the bonuses...

Going to the wire again - just like the Average Prediction League in Season Two!

The results are out.

Thank you for all your support throughout the last few months. See you all in August. There will be a (small) new twist to the game which will be announced shortly before the start of next season. :)

I HATE THIS GAME!!!!! <(<(<(<(<( not really

I was going to put an attendance figure of about 520,000, but thought it a bit too far. Now I see that this change of heart has cost me *my* title

So I lost on the second tie-breaker in one table and missed out on a medal position in the other by 0.001? What have I done over the last few weeks to have such luck on this forum? :(

gnolife and Robinson: If you read this, be warned. Expect something to go wrong on Saturday...

Although it could have been worse though, if i hadn't missed that week a few weeks back I could have won by 20 - 40 points ;), so not completely bad luck, I was very lucky though to still have won even though i took a huge hit with that missing week ;)

Are you sure you'll be able to keep track of all the different card tallies? The version I used for the Euros, where all reds were worth exactly two, was a lot easier. Otherwise, I am a bit disappointed that Attendance is gone, but to be fair it doesn't impact on the game in the same way as Away Goals or cards so it does make sense.

As for the other thing, I take it there's no Range Finder allowing us different levels of accuracy? That would actually have worked really well with Attendance due to the numbers involved...

Aye, it would actually be easier for scoring for me as I can work everything out in my head.

I wonder if that will be a new tactic for Ivo, seeing as he didn't do that badly in the first round  But ....

12 correct results? :P 8-)

Has been done before so not entirely surprising. I think the record is currently 57 points or something like that (Ivo will know), but still seriously good.

Anything over 40 is what I consider as an excellent performance. Harder than it sounds. (Perhaps that explains why 40% is the pass mark at universities. ;))

Thank god I've had another decent week 8-) as it looks as though Callysleeper is after the title (according to my rough calculations, he's scored maximum bonus this week).
