Ah that's not as bad as I'd thought. How long do you need to be driving mainline before your considered "qualified"?
Man was on yesterday ?
I thought you couldn't apply when you have one already in? They do check
Ahhh right, hmmm tough decision but if it was me I'd go and see if you get on the next stage
Decision taken out of my hands by a whopping throat infection  Even if I got down there, I'd most likely fluff the tests as I'm doped out at the minute. They say everything happens for a reason, so am staying positive. Just hope I get through to next stage with Northern now.

Settling in to the waiting game now. I hate this bit. The wait to know whether or not you've made it to the next step??? Can't settle, like a cat on a hot tin plate.
we will get there eventually, i dont care how long it takesLets hope so. Sooner rather than later. Just hope that it's a positive reply this time. Starting to worry that I'll come across that I want it too much lol. Almost desperate![]()
I've heard nothing yet. Hoping that it is simply because they have been busy with the Manchester vacancy before Christmas.

Has anyone heard anything????
hi guys. I just got an email for an interview for trainee driver position @ Manchester Picc depot. Dead excited.
On the email I received it says that effective from 30th Oct 2013 northern has adopted a revised Driver Psychometric assessment which has been developed by the RSSB. How does this differ from the original assessments.
Hi guys, did you apply for the Wigan vacancy, or one of the other ones. Getting that horrible feeling that I have lucked out again.
NEVER!!!! lol I am going to keep going until THEY give up and interview me. I just know if I get a crack at the interview and tests, I've got a decent chance. Always find these example based applications a bit iffy, as they can often be contextually misunderstood. Just need to keep practicing them.Man depots , don't give up yet
I'm there 930![]()

Made up for you Louby. Fingers crossed for you on the interview.
I'm having my first interview on the 27th at 930 hopefully I will get to meet one or two of you on passing
Fingers crossed you hear something, there will be more than one day for interviewing, and it was Wigan you went for wasn't it
Did you all apply in the last batch around Xmas?
