Quantity not quality.
Oh well, having just got home from work and sat down to finish the application, I find the vacancy removed. Deadline missed?
Amazing.
Good luck to those who made it.

But 12hrs?after recieving the email That's a short amount of time
Normally internals get a heads up and told in advance etc. but this time nothing. If we were working a 10 hour shift on Monday and again today how are we supposed to apply.

Absolutely bonkers

The alerts don't work, it's best just systematically checking the relative toc website and this one

Hi all,

I managed to complete the psychometric test today online. Again not sure how I did but does anyone know how long it takes before someone gets back to you regards to how you did?
Are you waiting days or weeks? or is the turn around quicker? and do they E-mail you to tell you how you did or will they ring?

Also if I'm fortunate enough to be invited to phone Interview, do they ring out the blue or will they give you a date and time so as I can prepare for the Interview? and roughly how long will this Interview last and when will you be told how you did on that stage of the application??

I know how difficult it is to get positions like this and I really want it so I'm trying to be as prepared as I can be for those who have already been through the process before?

Thank you

Anthony

I have tried twice yesterday and twice today to complete the 2nd assessment (that they give you 48hrs to complete) and each time I have got an error code (5120) and a message to contact customer support. I've contacted the customer support line and they send an automated reply saying they will get back to you within 24hrs.

My 48hrs to complete the assessment is up in the morning, has anyone got any advice? I can't find an email address for FirstGroup HR anywhere?!

I managed to complete both tests before the vacancy was removed but it only says you have completed it successfully not whether you've passed. My status just says submitted not even in progress.

Somehow I managed to get to a computer and do the 2nd phase test, the 'Checking Test', before my 48hrs was up. I passed it and now have been invited to do the next online assessment before the 22nd. Does anybody know what this next test is?

The waiting is killing me. I've been obsessed with checking my E-mails.

I take it when you received the Invite it wasn't on the same day?

I completed both online assessments on the 16th and still awaiting results, although both say they have been completed successfully I assume clarification will be made by email.

I applied for the earlier batch in December. Passed both online assessments. Then a few days later got an invite to arrange a telephone interview. Booked the interview for a friday evening.
After the weekend was then told a resounding 'NO' as I didn't score highly enough on the telephone interview.
A word to the wise. Brush up on your customer service skills. Obviously 19 years for me wasn't good enough and that was for a Major High Street Retailer....

Andylloyd, how can you be sure that it was your customer service element of the telephone interview that let you down? When I got my knock back in March, it seemed to be a simple pass or fail.

The email that I received said that I failed in one or more areas out of a possible three, one of these being possibly the motivation aspect although my customer skills are not the best in the world, even by my own confession.

Soz, I forgot to add I applied for the last vacancies earlier this year and got pretty far through the entire laborious process ;)

I applied straight away on the 15th. I then completed an online assessment on the 15th and the verify checking one on the 16th. I haven't heard back as yet. My friend didn't pass his initial assessment sadly. He is gutted. But I think his age may have been his factor against him as he is 52?

Ok, makes me feel slightly reassured now, thank you.

When you say Initial assesment, do you mean the 2 online assesments we have completed so far?
