Looks like Pep will be going to Man City with Chelsea as a distant second option.
No other British clubs interest him according to his agent.

England will certainly show the real manager of him. He has only experience of teams who dominate their respective leagues, whereas England hasn't any dominant teams.

it is a great ground & Bishops have been really good to us and even though we are paying them rent the relationship seems to have gone well.

Two teams playing on the same pitch is really having a negative impact on the playing surface and it might take a lot of our rent money to put right once we have left.

Come and watch Darlo when you are up - we might get a home game around April at this rate! ;)

Ha ha yeah I saw the pitch the last time and it didn't look to good.

No idea when next up but will try and pop along if Darlo are at home.. lol

Does he interest any other British clubs? I get the impression Pep has a rather inflated opinion of himself

Winchester City 1...Didcot Town 5 (Bentley 90+3; Carnell 3, 6, Edney 55, Dutton-Black 62, Reid 80)

Winchester City's worst performance of the season saw their unbeaten home run in the league come to a crashing halt. It's their first home defeat in the league since December 2014 and their biggest home defeat since March 2013. It also sees them out of the play-off places.

My guess is he was a lot better player than manager...did score a few crackers for us to be fair

Also ended that Chelsea lad's career with a very rash challenge, looked like he meant it too...

Of course if you feel he's not within your budget there's always Lee Clark*, Paul Ince, and if you feel your players are being worked too hard or are too ambitious how about Chris Powell?

*=yes, I know he managed your neighbours but then again Andy Carroll has been linked with Sunderland by one of the papers so anything is possible!

To be honest I doubt our budget even stretches to the manager of The Dog and Duck sunday league team

You don't see scoring direct from a corner very often but Exeter have managed it just before half time.

Oh naw they've equalised. :(

Whilst I was hoping that Exeter City would win on the night they have now have a large payday to look forward to by playing at Anfield which will boost the club's finances. Not only that but the players now have the chance to play at one of the most famous stadiums in world football so not a bad result all in all. Lee Holmes who scored their second goal started out at my club Derby County so it was nice to see him on the telly.

Exeter should have won against a make shift Liverpool side

Why? A Liverpool under 21 team should be able to beat a League Two team who have not won for four games. The only thing in Exeter's favor was the pitch.

I disagree, league 2 is stronger than the under 21 league.
Jose Enrique looked the worse player on the field, closely followed by Bogdan,

Exeter clearly knew and trained for the fact that both Liverpool goalkeepers are awful at dealing with crosses and took advantage of this.

I actually knew more names in the Exeter side than the Liverpool side.

Exeters team had actually played a few competitive games together. Liverpools team had probably met a few times in training.

Emyr Huws scored direct from a corner for Huddersfield a few weeks ago, though the wind could claim an assist in that case. I remember Chris Waddle doing the same for Bradford City this time against us... But can anyone name the only football league player to score direct from a throw-in? (yes, I know that's technically illegal but this goal did stand!).

I wonder if Klopp will put out a full strength team at Anfield ?

Can't see it. My guess is that he'll put out the kids with a couple of senior players on the bench in case the excrement hits the rotary cooling device

His interview with the BBC suggested he will play a similar team.
The youngsters will get better experience playing against a team with the experience of Exeter than against other under 21s. Exeter have a number of players in their late 30s with premier league experience.
