Not had one for a while, and I just gave my desktop a super clean.

Just wanted to show off my lack of icons! Haha

Here's mine with a distinct lack of icons.....(my laptop has got into the habit of freezing so I've preformed loads of system restores and can't be bothered with installing everything back on.)

Here goes....

Nice desktop Gizzy...May I ask where ye found that image? It looks like a very well comp-gen'd one to me! :)

Anyway, here's my current one...I keep my desktop clear of most icons out of general habit (I stuff all of my cr@p inside the Start menu > Programs tree insted!) and I find that having the task-bar over on the left hand side of the screen allows a lot more space for task listings, toolbars, and notification icons! 8)

Death's Desktop - 1280x1024, 212Kb JPEG images.

Also...I see that one of us is not only running a MacBook, but is also using a Western Digital HDD for their external storage...I don't mean to scare anyone, but if I were that user I'd have a very reliable, tried and tested backup solution in place for that setup...;)

Edit: Just thought I'd upload a second one showing the menu style and effects on my Start menu, which is where the World of Warcraft desktop theme that I'm using really stands out. Also, if ye look closely at the "frequently used programs" section, ye can see the pet name that I have for MSIE...:D

Farewell... <D

Oh i find it quite good, useful when i go out on my bike (push bike to those hair dryer lovers) in the back of beyond. Just a shame you have to keep paying for map updates :(

I'm sure you're not meant to be on RailUK at school. Get on with some work.

Our Graphics teacher don't care!! We can listen to music... It's the only forum I can get onto because they don't block vBulletin!!

Brandon, why do you use Windows Live Mail? Microsoft Outlook is much better for e-mail, IMHO.

I can't post mine; my computer died on me and the one I'm on just now unfortunately has some icons which could cause confidentiality issues (Cable and Wireless PC) and anyway, it's just the plain blue background :(

Sadly, I'm back on boring old XP.
