Forgive me for asking, but are 158s not cleared for Newquay? I wonder why not...

No doesn't look like it, which is why when 2C42 changed to 2N02, the diagram changed back to being booked for a 150.

Alongside the fact they're not cleared, 158s would be more beneficial on the mainline anyway.

Looks like it is to be working down on 2C69 from Cardiff Central to Plymouth, then onto 2C47 to Penzance and then 2E88 back to Exeter St Davids.

150002 is on the Cardiff to Paignton diagram today too.

166209 did this service today and it left from platform 2 do obviously was in the bay platform again.

**UPDATE**

158951 looks to have been swapped with 150216. So 216 and 153369 now seem to be on the diagram

158763 is running down to Plymouth on 2C69 as we speak which will then go onto 2C47 to Penzance and back up to Taunton on 2E88.

158956 started Exeter this morning working 0925 StJames Park to Cardiff and 1300 Cardiff to Exeter before going onto 1608 Exeter St D to St James and then a trip to Paignton and back

158766 worked 2C45 0828 Bristol TM to Penzance today BUT terminated Exeter St Davids due to the well documented problem.

Some slight timetable changes has the 158s working 2C43 Bristol Parkway-Penzance, rather than 2C42 Bristol Temple meads-Penzance from now on.. Not sure if its a 158 today though?

2c43 is still booked a 2 car 150 at the moment, this week at least.

To save me asking GWR, does anyone know what stock / number of carriages form the 14:37 Penzance - Bristol Temple Meads service* on Sundays when no engineering work?

Weirdly if the 16:31 from Liskeard to Reading is cancelled throughout on the 30/09/18 before 16:05 then I can catch the 16:08 to Taunton / Bristol Temple Meads? *I know the 14:37 is the 16:08 from Liskeard.

If a 158 is used / attached to a 75mph 15x then I'll board the 158 unless a 153 is used (I've only been on 2 153's - one EMT from Derby to Stoke-on-Trent and one then London Midland from Coventry to Nuneaton).

I doubt the diagrams for 30th September finalised yet

1437 Penzance to Bristol is usually just the single 150 (often a 150/1 when GWR had many of them!).

Don't put yourself through that torture. Wait for the 1530 Penzance to Leeds, which is a pair of Voyagers from Plymouth.

Shortage of 3-car 158s on Pompey - Cardiffs today. Looked like a 2 car 158, and a 2 car 150 on two of the circuits today going by JC. Also, trains were running heavily delayed due to the signalling problems between Temple Meads and Filton this afternoon.

Well 766 was on Exeter earlier so must have been a double 150 on one diagram.

Not helped by a line closure between Fareham and Southampton later in the day.
