68026 with 11506, 12716, 12717, 12718 and DT 12806 came through Picc at 12:42.
Here shown entering platform 13, in a grab from the video I shot.

The prospect of it ever becoming a regular sight seems to be like one of those dreams where you're chasing something but you can never quite catch it....

Nice one:) It will be nice when this is an everyday sight:)

It would be nice just to have 1 or maybe 2 Mk5a sets in passenger service at the very least. October! December!! 2020!!!

Can't remember where i seen it now but haven't there been complaints about the amount of noise the Class 68 makes. Unbelievable! It might have been in connection with Scotrails.

Was the complaint that they should be even louder?;)

68025 ‘Superb’ on today’s Nova 3 runs:

3C91 05:15 MID-Carlisle
3B92 08:12 Carlisle-Bletchley
3H93 15:33 Bletchley-MID

Does anyone know if the set is TP11? I’m guessing it is finishing off its Fault Free Running. As always, any info always greatly appreciated:)

* may have the head codes the wrong way around
Many thanks for the shout:)

All previous loco swaps for the driver training locos have been TP operated off Longsight. I wonder if this one is to get 68024 home to Crewe to receive the latest mods/software tweaks?

Either way, thank you again for the information:)

The damn thing went through East Didsbury too early! I parked up in the free Metrolink Park and Ride and it had gone by a minute prior, probably just as I was turning off the main road! Is it on again today or tomorrow?

I saw 68031 light locomotive through York at 13:00, that was past Greenfield at 10:58. Was there a Nova 3 set too?

I don’t think anything has run today other than 68031 light engine Crewe CS-Scarborough and 68024 (booked) Scarborough-Crewe CS.

I'm a new poster to this thread but have followed it with great interest...thank you all. I took a late lunch break to head down to Scarborough and witnessed a solo 68 trundle in about 2pm...no coaches tho. Still a pleasant sight after the years of multiple units but nonetheless a slight sense of disappointment

Another load moving out of Portbury tomorrow by the look of things. Realtimetrains has the working for the inbound light loco, but nothing going back as yet.

These do tend to get cancelled or changed, I’ve only seen one working on the branch so far, just by chance. No other traffic running from Portbury at the moment.

A loco is on the move around Crewe right now, down from wavertree junction. Any sign of any coaches being tested or trained on this week anywhere?

Will these do, taken from the same video?

Very nice looking units! Saw one pulling out of preston a couple weeks ago. Been as the first 802's are looking to be handed over to TPE soon, wonder wether they will be beaten into service...

Does all of this running round and testing months before the trains actually get into service affect their operational lives?

Also the Castlefield corridor could probably do with some weed management!

Guard instructors are now on the Mk5A course so here’s hoping the airport based guards will start shortly. They will be the first ones to work the trains.
