If Euston is delayed by 3 years where does this leave Manchester, the North and HS3/NPR? I'm 53- will I be dead before it opens if it ever does xx?

They're all speculative because IMHO 95% of the business cases will be rejected either by DfT or Treasury given current financial restraint

I'm not convinced. Largely because I think 95% of people are put off by having to change trains even without luggage

I live in Halifax. To me anything that speeds up Leeds- Halifax, Bradford- Halifax- Manchester, Leeds- Calder Valley stations and Huddersfield- Calder Valley stations connectivity is welcome

Realtime trains shows no through service to London from Basingstoke With Basingstoke- Reading, Salisbury/Exeter/Yeovil, Woking , Portsmouth and Weymouth/Poole services running No service at Fleet, Winchfield and Hook stations I wonder how long that plan will carry on for ?

My view is still that there is zero chance of this or any other new build RYR scheme being funded. Especially in the current financial climate

Given that none of this is likely to be funded it's moot anyway. It was too expensive 10 years ago and things have got worse unless I missed something
