The cl375 refurb drags between Derby and Ramsgate (using these same ROG 37s) have no translator or braking force wagons at all ... so how come they are necessary for the 707s?
It always depends if the unit being delivered has its brakes operational as part of the overall consist. Your example 375 is an already tested and approved unit, so it may be practical to connect up its brakes for the move, the 707 may not be ready for that yet, i.e. it is not that far through the approvals process.
