Harsh...
Apologise perhaps just a little.
Harsh...
I would probably block you too to be fair. You do talk a lot of nonsense I mean you’ve appeared from nowhere on this forum but keep banging on about the new E200MMCs and how people who mistakingly thought they spotted them were “talking trash” as you put it. Maybe just maybe not everyone likes that. Just a thought
I noticed one of the ex-Hutchison B10s on the 64 last night. Made a rare change.
Launch for the 242 and 254 has been changed to the 9th of March although buses may be on the road before the launch. What nonsense do I post.
Everything I have posted has more or less been true?
242 to get new vehicles (this was months before 241 was mentioned) did this happen. Yes waiting to arrive soon.
Streetlights to Overtown - happened just not on the route I was told they were for.
U1 service, I said on here one will get debranded. Did it happen YES
obviously if someone says something has arrived and no pictures are up same day or next is going to be questioned with the amount of drivers on the FB groups/on here with no one else confirming.
More facts for you and we will see if these come true
38 vehicles focuses on the common corridor shared between all variants of the route between Giffnock and Alexandra Park - branded buses can therefore be used on any of the service 38 variants.
Launch events for other services are being planned but they haven't yet been finalised. Further information on each will be made public nearer the time but, for now, service 38 is the only launch planned for February
This includes the 242 service but I still have not had the 254 confirmed as receiving new vehicles.
242 could still happen this month and possibly the launch location hasn't been confirmed.
Singles deckers or change route so you go past golf course then turn up into law village at the junction.Fine for your private operators but first will not put a bus on that road it has low hanging trees and a blind corner at the top of lawhill.
If first are to start the rumoured express from Carluke it will go the main road and compete with Stuart’s it will not serve law village.Singles deckers or change route so you go past golf course then turn up into law village at the junction.
Should be 44680-44682 are they pink as per advertising ? Info in FB group I guess lolNew 242 buses have arrived at Blantyre
Yes they are pink. They look great in my opinion. 44682 appears to be YW68 OWD so I think it’s safe to assume 44680 will be OWB and 44681 OWCShould be 44680-44682 are they pink as per advertising ? Info in FB group I guess lol
Yep lol. Would have made sense to increase it though with business increasing at eurocentral. Earlier/later runnings would be the next best thing for this route.I doubt the 242 going to every 15mins now.

They are looking good. These will definitely be on the road before any launch. Rest should follow very soon. Not my photos, if the original owner wants them removed just drop me a PM.
Cancel that launch is on the 23rd as originally posted. Launch is in Motherwell.Launch for the 242 and 254 has been changed to the 9th of March although buses may be on the road before the launch.
Driver's will no doubt be told to go slow in Pather due to the speed bumps as the 240s took a beating going in with drivers not caring and flooring it. One of the reasons the 240 was changedLook forward to getting a shot on the 242’s, will be much handier for going round the schemes
You be better off, joining the First Glasgow, and First Group Enthusiasts, groups.Firstbus group on fB is a joke. If you know more than the admins you get removed initials EG I believe is the culprit just like he removed me from the first enthusiasts page. Careful what you post people.
Commented on the new e200 at blantyre stating they were for overtown. Now I am removed
That was where I was lolYou be better off, joining the First Glasgow, and First Group Enthusiasts, groups.

We’ve already been told to slow down in general, green road now monitors speeding in and out the depotDriver's will no doubt be told to go slow in Pather due to the speed bumps as the 240s took a beating going in with drivers not caring and flooring it. One of the reasons the 240 was changed
Ah right. Pather needs the bumps lowered anyway. Still think Wishaw hill should be served by the likes of a spt route with small vehicles like 93. Scheme very tight at times at corner next to flats. We’ve already been told to slow down in general, green road now monitors speeding in and out the depot
If you can’t get a bus round wishawhill then you shouldn’t be driving them.Ah right. Pather needs the bumps lowered anyway. Still think Wishaw hill should be served by the likes of a spt route with small vehicles like 93. Scheme very tight at times at corner next to flats.
I believe 6 of the 12 have arrived.44685 at Blantyre also. 242 branded from what I have been told. Atleast 4 branded 242's

I would say Pather is worse for parked cars and having to mount pavements. As I said it's tight. I have seen plenty of buses blocked due to cars parked on both sides at the corner. If any the 242s are going to get damaged then this will be the place. As currently the b10s just cut the corner up on the path etc most of the time. The e200s not so robust to handle that pounding. Passenger numbers must warrant the hassle though
Oh not saying Pather is easier but wishawhill kerbs are higher at that corner which doesn't make things easier. Problem with Pather is cars parking on both sides of the street rather than same side. Etive Street is an example where they all park on same side but Etive/Linnhe Cresent and Ness street all park zigzag. These smaller e200s should navigate easier though. The caetano darts are perfect for this route. High ground clearance for Pather and small and tight to get around with ease.I would say Pather is worse for parked cars and having to mount pavements.
I don’t know which bend you are on about but from what I see no bus needs to mount pavements to go round wishawhill. Pather is worse as a car parks on the junction at ness street and buses have no option but to mount the pavement here. The passenger loadings in wishawhill are decent. As I said it's tight. Pentland road/Grampian road. If the cars are not fully up on the path on the left the b10s are up on the kerbs to get past. As per my comment it's tight there when they decide to park on both sides. Am surprised you haven't had problems here. Yes I am aware of Ness street but that's a low kerb awayI don’t know which bend you are on about but from what I see no bus needs to mount pavements to go round wishawhill. No problems here people in wishawhill seem to respect that it’s a bus route unlike those in Pather.Pentland road/Grampian road.
