    i would like to point out that SouthWest Trains 455s 30 odd years old, the 458/0s are 15-16 yrs old and the 158/9s are getting on for 30yrs old, same for the 456s , and Southerns 455s.

    The 458's were total crap from the day they left the factory , it is the Wimbledon fitters that tinkered with them and made them the best performing units in the country, since then Alstom have also made the 458/5 crap , and again it will be the Wimbledon fitters that get them running right.

    003 and 014 suffered a breakaway in shop on 22/10 , one has had to have complete tightlock coupler replaced , the other had coupler repairs , both due in service on first week of November.

    the unit was ordered painted pink by head of fleet engineering and named after a recent depot manager at wimbledon as it was known he hated the colour pink.
