Well, just finished the medical and all went well, so pending a clean urine sample (too much info, I know!) I should be starting my new career on June 24th :) thanks again to everyone who helped with information/tips on here. Really excited now!

Thank you, and thanks for the advice on here by the way. I've read the thread about testing with interest and can say the only piece of advice which really helped (or was needed) was to relax and not panic when doing the assessments.

I think there may be a little confusion as to which 'stage' she is referring to, the DFFT wasn't actually part of the psychometric tests, it was merely another mechanism for TPE to reduce the number of candidates sitting the tests. So maybe she meant that the DTG and CBI was 'stage 2' and...

Mark/Clarky - I was told that since they had a large number of passes they had only been able to invite those with a 'very good' pass back to the second (third?) stage. So it may be that you have a 'good' pass and they are keeping you guys on hold in case they don't get the candidates they want...

Anywayyyyy....back on topic, I had the assessments today, passed the reactions which was the worst of the tests IMO, proper nerve-wracking! Felt the other two interviews went well (DM and CBI) but won't find out for 7-10 days whether I passed the CBI so back to the waiting game! Commiserations...

Are those definite numbers Merrydown? Thought it would have been way more than that! If it's 43 applicants left with 10 positions available, all of a sudden the odds don't look terrible. Are all 10 on the June intake and more later or are the 10 split between the two?

Well about half an hour after I posted I got an email saying I'm through to the next round on Thurs at 9.00, the relief was overwhelming! Sorry to hear about the ones who were unsuccessful but there's hope for those who haven't heard. Less than 2 days notice is unbelievable really, but I'm lucky...
