Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

Yeah, agreed. I find it quite frustrating, really - used to be able to get a good variety of books in there, but there's nowhere near the same variety now as there used to be. Also, the stores often seem disorganised and with a confusing layout.

    Bond Street "temporary rebrand"

It's just gonna get people confused if they see signage that's a different colour to what's expected, especially on that part of the Central line.

    Poll: Views on tattoos

After years of dithering, I've finally made an appointment to get my second tattoo done next weekend. Only been nearly eight years since my first one, and over two years since I came up with the idea for the one I'm getting done, but the fact remains it's happening at long last. :)

easyJet from EDI-BHX. Got BA from LHR-JFK in September, which should be good. Haven't flown with them since October 2006 when I went to Barcelona with school on board a 767-300ER, and I should get a 777 of some description to JFK.

    Autism

Yeah, this is very true. I did take a flight on my own back in January (was only Edinburgh to Birmingham, and I did have a friend with me up until my gate was called, but it still counts), and it went pretty well. Only issue I had was that I ended up in an exit row and didn't quite realise I...

    Manchester Airport security queues

I worked in security at Manchester for a few months last year, and it was quite common for Security B to be where most passengers went through in T1. It's such an unpleasant space for anybody (both staff and passengers), largely because of the low ceilings and the lack of room for anybody to get...

A scam phone calls and emails discussion.

I've been having a lot of this recently as well. Joke's on the spammers, though - I'm gay! :p

Favourite Tube Stock (Past and/or Present)?

I'm gonna admit I'm a sucker for the S Stock (particularly the S8), as air conditioning on the Tube is so good when it's really hot in the summer months.

    Favourite Clothing range

Outlet shopping is great, though I'll admit that if you go to somewhere like Cheshire Oaks, it can get quite dangerous...:p

    Favourite Clothing range

My default clothing store's usually NEXT - I find it to be a good balance between price and quality, and their stuff usually fits me pretty well.

    Formula 1

One of the reasons we went for Club on the Saturday was because it was covered, not gonna lie. :p

    Formula 1

Yep - every single time they went past, everyone cheered. What was also quite funny was Saturday. I was sat in Club for the majority of the day, and whenever the medical car went around Vale, it always clipped the kerb to the extent that the left rear wheel lifted from the ground. Got a great...

    Formula 1

I'm pretty sure they were used to transport relevant people down from the Copse tunnel to the paddock area and vice versa. A friend of mine was on accredited press this year, and he pretty much confirmed it with regard to how he was getting back from the media centre to his car.

    Increase in homophobic verbal abuse?

Thanks. I'm lucky to have some wonderful friends around me who've all been so supportive. I particularly needed it from my colleagues during the initial stages of the pandemic.

    Increase in homophobic verbal abuse?

In my last job, I'd wear rainbow laces in my shoes, a rainbow lanyard, and two rainbow pin badges. At my current job, I only have one more subtle rainbow pin (recently purchased from the Manchester Shop) which I wear on my lanyard, as I don't really want to have too much that could get lost...

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

I had that when I worked for Sainsbury's. Girl came in for cigarettes, colleague asked her for ID, she didn't have it, we refused. Tried every trick in the book (photo on her phone, having her kids with her), but we had none of it. She kicked off and banned us from the chippy she worked in. Joke...
